12/18/99 3pm Interesting show last night. It was good, of course, but they weren't quite all there. Looked like they didn't quite get a total grip on what they were trying to do and hence didn't have much of a focus on their setlists. There were long pauses between songs and quite a few flubs, especially in the second set. The encore was very strong, though, and a totally suprising Loving Cup which set the crowd wild. I'm going to go over in a little while see what today's lot scene brings- if nothing else, I simply know that the show is going to rock.
12/17/99 4:15pm At the hotel, working up the energy to head over the the venue. I'm fighting off the flu, so I'm not exactly full of energy. In fact, I feel rather shitty. But I'm in HAMPTON, godammit, and nothing is going to stop me from going all out and enjoying every single second of this fucking band. Between you & me, I think I'm going to relapse back into the flu next week, but it'll be worth it...Look for an update afterwards (about 1am EST, 12/18). Till then, peace.
