What  is  was the tourphone?
The tourphone is was an attempt to let phans listen in on concerts from home. I may fire it up at other bands' concerts from time to time. Check here for details.

What's the deal?
I have a cellphone with an ungodly amount of free minutes. You're welcome to call it anytime during a concert. It's as simple as that. Listen to your heart's content!

Why?
Phish & it's fans have given me moments of happiness beyond what I could possibly imagine. This is my way of giving a little something back.

I'm calling during showtime, but I keep getting your voicemail.
Someone else is already listening. Moral of the story: by all means please call as much as you want, but don't be a hog.

I'm calling to talk to you, but you're not answering.
I don't usually talk when I have the phone. Letting you listen in is one thing, but talking on it during a concert is really geeky. So... no offense intended.

What's the catch?
You pay your own long distance charges.

Won't the phone bother people?
No. The phone doesn't ring- it vibrates.

Won't the phone bother you?
No. I tuck it inside my belt and don't even realize it's there.

How does it sound?
From what I'm told, not too bad. Definitely far from good, but if you're hanging around your house wishing you were at the show, there's nothing better than catching a few scratchy minutes of Ghost.

What else do I need to know?
You're welcome to call during Nassau 2003 (2/28/2003) from around 8 til 11:30pm EST). If you call before or after, I may not answer because I am 1) conserving batteries, and/or 2) incapable of speaking.

How can I get a hold of you?
If I don't answer directly, you can send a text message to my phone. (120 or so chars max). I'll almost always see that.
