Ahh... Deer Creek. The place of legendary shows. Of Deadheads crashing the gates. Of pig farms turned into campgrounds. Can't wait! Look for me stumbling around the place, or sitting here. You can also check out  the tourcam  and listen in on the tourphone. NOTE: SORRY, NO TOURCAM AT DEER CREEK. THERE'S NO COVERAGE OUT HERE. But the tourphone should still work. ALSO, NO LARGE PICS UNTIL I GET HOME.

7/13/00 It's one day after the last Deer Creek show, and I'm now in Columbus, the day before the Columbus run. Phish had a great three day run- day 2 was best, IMO. Throughout it all, they featured a wide variety of songs; though I'll admit that Day 1 & 3 weren't exactly earth shattering, the band seemed to be thoroughly enjoying themselves and there's no question that they were playing with great intensity. So... I had a great time and FINALLY got Deer Creek under my belt.

I had one of the worst scares of my life right before day three's show: I lost my ticket! Here's the deal: I had a bunch of tiny ladybug stickers that I was giving to people when a girl gave me a huge hug. As she pressed up against me, she jostled my hand and the ticket slipped out. I didn't realize it until I stepped up to the ticket booth. I gotta tell you, losing something like that is one of the worst feelings in the world, especially when you're RIGHT there. That horrible sinking feeling nearly ripped me apart. But I managed to stay calm, quickly scanned the entering crowd, and divine luck caused me to immediately walk right into someone who had an extra for face value. I nearly cried from the relief. I don't usually buy into this shit, but Karma definitely exists. No doubt.
