What will I see? Still photos! I'm making a return to the old school, so to speak. There will be no webcam feed for this part of the tour, as I'm out of my home area and it costs 8c per kb to transmit data. Compare that to free when in my home area. Plus, the West, for all it's beauty and space, doesn't have the coverage for CDPD (what I use to send the feed). So... the webcam returns at Nassau. But you will see a bunch of still photos taken with the trusy old digital camera. Check back peridoically to see views & news from the road, lot scenes, and maybe even a venue shot. This is my first trip out the Northwest and I'm not sure what to expect from the security at the shows. If it's chill, maybe I'll give it a shot. Either way, updates won't be all that fast & furious, as I'll need to find constantly find a phone line to upload. And I may be camping most of the time. (9/10: Vancouver pics are up. But probably no Gorge pics for a few days.) |
