Been to LA, but only passing through. Certainly never for a show. I have no expectations, but I think this will be a slightly down show, as they may be gearing up for Mountain View. Look for me stumbling around the venue, or sitting here. You can also listen in on the tourphone. (Sorry, no TourCam for any fall shows except for Mansfield & Columbia. No coverage anywhere else... )

| Post show: Time for the late night ramble.
The standard disclaimer of it totally sucking because my sweetheart is 3000 miles away
notwithstanding, the show tonight was great. I had awesome seats (5th row
center, even though it said Row A. Hmmmm...) and actually ended up sitting
next to the very same people who sat next to me last night. We got a good laugh out of that and the proceeded to
enjoy a great concert. The band was really into it; since they totally improvise
every set, it really shows when they're concentrating. About the only
weird thing was, because it's LA, there were a LOT of rich people there.
Nothing against them (in fact I most certainly hope to be one someday), but
it was a little funny to see them mingling amongst the dirty hippies.
Everyone got along just fine, but there were some real characters... total
platistic surgery-ed out chicks and snotty little rich kids with their
parents who obviously scored the ticket at their law firm and were now
trying to look cool in front of them. LA is such an outer space scene. The show itself was OUTSTANDING. Easily one of the best I've seen this tour. Wow!!!!! Ok, off to bed....
