Never been to San Diego before, but I'm excited. I hear it's a stunningly beautiful city. There are 3 days between Phoenix and this one, which will be nice; a good to chill. Plus, my second favorite band, The Slip will be playing one of those nights. That'll be totally magical. Look for me stumbling around the venue, or sitting here. You can also listen in on the tourphone. (Sorry, no TourCam for any fall shows except for Mansfield & Columbia. No coverage anywhere else... ) | |||

| Tues, Oct 3: In San Diego tonight, the day before the show. Nice city. It's true about what they say of San Diego: it's very nice. The people, the scenery... everything. I like it a lot. I'm heading off to see my hometown boys tonight, The Slip, a truly outstanding band. Wed, Oct 4 11:30pm (after the show) Hmmm.. thoughts. It was an ok show. Wait a second- it was very good. What I mean is there was noting totally spectacular about it, but then again there were very few mistakes. My friend Matt & I think they were holding back a little bit, perhaps saving up energy for LA & San Francisco. They're gonna rock. So in all, a nice show. Solid. Consistent. Not earth shattering or monumental, but I'd take this over some other crap band's concert without hesitation. | |||
